Medical Account Specialist II - HEMATOLOGY - LONG ISLAND, NY

The Hematology Oncology Account Specialist is responsible for engaging Hematologists and other key Oncology customers within an assigned geography to support the launch of the Multiple Myeloma product. The role presents clinically focused selling messages to grow revenue and consistently deliver product goals in a compliant manner.
A Typical Day May Include:
- Engage Hematologists and key Oncology customers with clinically focused selling messages to grow brand share/revenue and deliver product goals.
- Partner with the Regional Director, Nurse Educator, Key Account Manager, Territory-based Oncology Account Specialists, and Reimbursement Specialists to resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives.
- Develop strong working relationships with aligned designated accounts and specialists.
- Execute market profiling to understand regional/local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts to support contracting pull-through.
- Build breadth of relationships within each account to understand objectives, goals, challenges, and identify appropriate approved resources.
- Demonstrate dedication to compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree; Masterโs degree or advanced certifications a plus.
- Minimum 5 years successful Oncology sales (Hematology Oncology preferred).
- Buy-and-bill experience with biologics required.
- Minimum 3 years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, or key institutions.
- Current account management calling experience on large Oncology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Hematology Oncology and the current Oncology marketplace.
- Ability to travel to cover large geography territories.
