The Hematology Oncology Account Specialist engages Oncology specialists and other key Oncology customers in assigned geographic settings (academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts) to support the launch of a Multiple Myeloma product. The role presents clinically focused selling messages to build and grow revenue and consistently deliver product goals, in a compliant manner.
Responsibilities:
- Engage Oncology experts and key Oncology customers with clinically focused selling messages to support the launch of a bispecific agent for MM malignancies, growing brand share and revenue.
- Partner with Regional Director, Territory-based Oncology Account Specialists, and Reimbursement Specialists to resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives.
- Build strong relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
- Conduct market profiling to understand regional/local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate effort with the Regeneron Oncology account team (e.g., contracting pull-through).
- Develop broad relationships within each account to understand objectives, goals, and challenges; identify approved Regeneron resources aligned to customer needs.
- Demonstrate dedication to compliance with regulations and policies governing customer interactions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree (Masterโs or advanced education/certifications a plus).
- 5+ years successful Oncology sales experience (Hematology Oncology preferred).
- Buy-and-bill experience with biologics required.
- 3+ years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, or key institutions.
- Current account management calling on large Oncology group practices and/or IDNs.
- Strong understanding of Hematology Oncology therapeutic area and current Oncology marketplace.
- Leadership ability to collaborate across different reporting structures.
- Passion for science with proactive learning (disease state, treatment options, healthcare trends).
- Ability to travel and cover a large territory.
