Medical Account Specialist II - HEMATOLOGY - INDIANAPOLIS, IN

The Hematology Oncology Account Specialist engages Hematologists and other key Oncology customers within a geographical territory (academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts) to support the launch of a Multiple Myeloma product. Role focuses on clinically focused selling to build brand share, grow revenue, and deliver product goals. Account management-based selling, taking ownership of performance, and delivering results in a compliant manner.
A typical day may include:
- Engage Hematologists and key Oncology customers with clinically focused selling messages for a Multiple Myeloma bispecific antibody.
- Partner with Regional Director, Nurse Educator, Key Account Manager, territory Oncology account specialists, and reimbursement specialists to resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives.
- Develop strong relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
- Perform market profiling to understand local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate account team efforts (e.g., support contracting/pull-through).
- Build relationships within accounts to understand objectives/goals/challenges and align approved resources to customer needs.
- Demonstrate dedication to compliance by understanding regulations/policies governing customer interactions.

Requirements/qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree; Masterโs degree or advanced education/certifications a plus.
- Minimum 5 years Oncology sales experience (Hematology Oncology preferred).
- Buy-and-bill experience with biologics required.
- Minimum 3 years working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in group practices and/or academic hospitals.
- Current account management experience calling on large Oncology group practices and/or IDNs.
- Strong understanding of the Hematology Oncology therapeutic area and current Oncology marketplace.
- Ability to collaborate across different reporting structures.
- Passion for science/disease state and proactive learning; ability to travel and cover large territories.
