Medical Account Specialist II - HEMATOLOGY - CHICAGO SOUTH, IL

The Hematology Oncology Account Specialist engages Hematologists and other key Oncology customers in assigned territory (academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts) to support the launch of Multiple Myeloma and to grow revenue and deliver product goals by delivering clinically focused selling messages. Role includes ownership of account management-based selling while rigorously following applicable policies and procedures for promotion of pharmaceutical/biological products.
A Typical Day May Include:
- Engage Hematologists and key Oncology customers with clinically focused messages to grow brand share and revenue for a Multiple Myeloma bispecific antibody.
- Partner with Regional Director, Nurse Educator, Key Account Manager, Territory Oncology Account Specialists, and Reimbursement Specialists to resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with designated accounts and aligned specialists.
- Conduct market profiling to understand regional/local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts to support contracting and pull-through.
- Understand account objectives, goals, and challenges and identify approved Regeneron resources aligned to customer needs.
- Demonstrate dedication to compliance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree; Masterโs degree or advanced education/certifications a plus.
- Minimum 5 years successful Oncology sales (Hematology Oncology preferred).
- Buy-and-bill experience with biologics required.
- Minimum 3 years with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in group practices and/or academic hospitals.
- Current account management experience calling on large Oncology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong understanding of Hematology Oncology and current Oncology marketplace.
- Ability to collaborate across reporting structures.
- Passion for science; proactive learning about disease state, treatments, and healthcare trends.
- Ability to travel and cover large geography territories.
