Medical Account Specialist II - HEMATOLOGY - ALBANY, NY

Responsibilities:
- Engage hematologists and key oncology customers; deliver clinically focused selling messages for a multiple myeloma bispecific antibody to grow brand share, revenue, and product goals.
- Partner with Regional Director, Nurse Educator, Key Account Manager, Territory Oncology Account Specialists, and Reimbursement Specialists to resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives.
- Build strong relationships across assigned accounts; understand account objectives, goals, and challenges; identify appropriate resources aligned to customer needs.
- Conduct market profiling to understand regional/local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Proactively identify business opportunities and coordinate support across the oncology account team (e.g., contracting pull-through).
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree (Masterโs or advanced education/certifications a plus).
- Minimum 5 years successful oncology sales; hematology oncology preferred.
- Buy-and-bill experience with biologics required.
- Minimum 3 years experience working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in group practices and academic hospitals.
- Current experience managing accounts calling on large oncology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
- Strong knowledge of hematology oncology therapeutic area and current oncology marketplace.
- Advanced clinically based and account-based selling skills; strong account management, analytical/problem-solving/planning abilities.
- Ability to travel and cover large geography territories.
- Collaborative leader able to coordinate across different reporting structures.
