Operations
Position: Maintenance Mechanic (Indianapolis Device and Packaging, IDAP)
Responsibilities:
- Increase equipment uptime, line efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness through condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and assisting in engineering changes.
- Support safety, quality, uptime, and quantity goals; assist in equipment setup.
- Identify equipment signals/measurements to improve PM program success and reduce unscheduled maintenance.
- Develop repair part lists with inventory levels based on historical demand, supplier lead-time, component costs, and risk to business stoppage.
- Maintain a proactive reliability plan.
- Complete work orders.
- Maintain a safe work environment; work safely and support all HSE corporate and site goals.
- Help develop setup and troubleshooting guides to promote runtime.
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
- Completion of Post Offer Exam or Completion of Work Simulation (if applicable).
Additional Preferences / Skills:
- Automated machine maintenance experience.
- Safety compliance knowledge (LOTO, live equipment troubleshooting).
- CMMS experience (GMARS preferred).
- Problem-solving ability.
- Good housekeeping / neat and orderly work area.
- Ability to follow written procedures.
- Journeyman trade or equivalent experience.
- Regulated industry experience (FDA preferred).
- Ability to perform quality work without close supervision.
- Proficiency in CMMS (e.g., GMARS), Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- High-level customer service experience.
Other Information:
- Shift: 3-2-2-3; willing to work day or night shifts; flexible to cover other shifts; overtime as needed.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Anticipated wage: $21.27–$45.48.
- Eligible for company bonus (for full-time equivalent employees, depending on company/individual performance).
