Market Development Director - Southeast Region

Role: Market Development Director responsible for driving regional strategy and launch readiness for REGENXBIO’s therapies targeting rare and neuromuscular diseases. Responsibilities: develop and execute engagement strategies with key accounts, establish partnerships within neuromuscular and rare disease communities, lead regional business planning, support treatment access, address barriers to care, and monitor regional market trends. Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access) and external stakeholders, including treatment centers and thought leaders, to facilitate market expansion and treatment adoption. Requirements: minimum 5+ years in biotech/pharma commercial or market development roles, bachelor’s degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD preferred), proven experience in rare diseases and complex launches, strong understanding of U.S. healthcare, market access, and reimbursement pathways. Skills: strategic planning, stakeholder management, data analysis, excellent communication, high integrity, ability to travel up to 60%.
