Responsibilities:
- Own and support Aveva PI Data Historian activities, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and issues resolution.
- Manage understanding of Information Systems infrastructure services (Storage, VMs, Network, Active Directory, etc.).
- Own and craft the design and technology of the Technology ecosystem.
- Support and/or execute Technology and automation platforms project portfolio (portfolio planning, resource, risk management, and financial management).
- Monitor industry/technology trends and foster external networking opportunities to deliver valuable insights.
- Support cross-system analysis, feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, and recommend optimal solutions; lead multiple initiatives/priorities.
- Manage relationships with Technology service owners, business partners, enterprise Technology service partners, and vendors.
- Elicit/analyze business stakeholder needs and convert them into functional design.
- Manage Technology platform activities including system administration, troubleshooting, vendor management, platform lifecycle, and business requirements.
- Travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Information Systems, Engineering and/or Information Technology experience
- OR Associate’s degree and 6 years of Information Systems, Engineering and/or Information Technology experience
- OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of Information Systems, Engineering and/or Information Technology experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years in a manufacturing environment with 2+ years in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology
- 2+ years combined experience with Data Historian (AVEVA PI), MES (Korber), Delta V Automation platform, and/or Rockwell Platform Automation Systems
- 2+ years combined experience with IIoT
- Experience supporting Manufacturing Data integrations (e.g., SQL, Web Services/messaging, data mapping)
- Agile development experience
- Ability to translate strategic opportunities and emerging technology into executable plans
- Ability to anticipate/evaluate/resolve multiple simultaneous project issues using technical/project management/business expertise
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and 21 CFR Part 11
- Experience with computer validation and change control methodology
- Experience with computerized systems, including troubleshooting, reliability, and performance improvements
