Operations
Purpose:
- Leads a team of individual contributors and supervisors responsible for daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production while developing the team, optimizing processes, and supporting product maturity.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, output, and cost targets.
- Use technical/electromechanical manufacturing expertise to resolve issues, improve processes, and support product maturity.
- Allocate resources; ensure training, coaching, and development for production team.
- Standardize and scale manufacturing processes to improve throughput, yield, and efficiency.
- Evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement, including adoption of new tools/technologies.
- Partner cross-functionally on build readiness, issue resolution, and operational priorities.
- Provide hands-on leadership fostering trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years manufacturing experience, including 3+ years in a manager role.
- Proven success leading teams in high-complexity, fast-paced production.
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to introduce and sustain operational improvements.
- ERP/MES experience and data-driven operations management.
Preferred Skills:
- Capital equipment, high-tech, electromechanical hardware, semiconductor, medical device, or complex robotics manufacturing.
- Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing training/certification.
- NPI support through volume ramp up in regulated environments.
Other:
- Up to 10% travel; fully onsite.
