Manager, U.S. Medical Affairs, Liver Strategy (Foster City, California)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of USMA Liver strategy for PBC, HDV, other viral hepatitis, and emerging portfolio needs.
- Translate strategy into scientifically rigorous, compliant, field-ready medical materials, digital resources, and conference/symposium deliverables.
- Create/revise/review/approve/deploy and manage lifecycle of medical content (slide decks, FAQs, training, advisory board content, congress summaries, symposia materials, digital education assets).
- Manage Medical Review Committee (MRC) submissions, reviewer feedback, version control, and timely approvals.
- Adapt Global Medical Affairs content for U.S. use; develop U.S.-specific materials as needed.
- Lead/support digital and AI-enabled innovation (e.g., compliant use cases) and manage digital platforms.
- Support publication strategy and conference encore planning/execution.
- Coordinate training/launch/distribution/adoption of approved resources.
- Manage multiple projects/vendors/timelines; uphold legal, regulatory, and internal policy compliance.
Requirements
- Education: BS (6+ yrs) OR MS (4+ yrs) OR PhD (0+ yrs) in life sciences/health-related/scientific area.
- Experience: Medical Affairs/medical communications/clinical development/related biopharma experience; content development and MRC experience; digital medical engagement platforms (e.g., Veeva/CLM/MedDocs) and AI-enabled tools.
- Strong scientific acumen; excellent written/verbal communication; strong project management; matrixed collaboration.
Preferred
- MRC/MLR/PRC experience; liver disease experience (PBC, HDV, HBV, HCV, cholestatic).

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Salary range: $146,540.00β$189,640.00; may include discretionary annual bonus, long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
