Role Summary
Manager in Pfizerโs Strategy & Consulting (S&C) team supporting development of holistic business strategies across Corporate, Commercial and Research & Development (R&D). Works across four verticals within S&C: US Commercial, Global Commercial Platforms, International, and Corporate and R&D. Engage with senior leaders across Pfizerโs business units and report to a Director Team Lead or Senior Director to accelerate growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Initiative Leadership: Support key strategic projects, ensuring alignment with long-term goals and timely delivery
- Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify market trends, diagnose internal processes, and evaluate potential risks to inform enterprise decisions
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with senior executives and cross-functional teams to develop and communicate strategic recommendations and drive alignment
- Teaming and Mentoring: Maintain a collaborative spirit, build personal awareness and model a continuous growth mindset
Qualifications
- Minimum BS/BA with 4 years of relevant experience or MBA/MS/MA with 3 years of relevant healthcare experience
- Relevant healthcare experience includes strategy development and/or strategic initiatives in commercial, corporate or R&D biopharma functions
- Strong problem solving skills; ability to formulate hypotheses, ask the right questions, assess scenarios, and develop actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated project leadership potential and ability to deliver on workstreams with cross-functional colleagues
- Ability to influence project stakeholders without direct authority
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; ability to work with junior team members
- Understanding of trends and market dynamics in US and Global healthcare/biopharmaceuticals; awareness of competitor strategies; basic understanding of drug development and commercialization
- Effective presentation skills to senior stakeholders; ability to lead with key messages and adapt communication style
- High learning agility, team-oriented mindset, and poise under pressure
- Basic understanding of finance and P&L implications of strategy
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written

- MBA or advanced degree preferred
