Responsibilities:
- Help set national and regional sales targets in compliance with regulations and aligned with forecasts; align targeting and call planning with business strategy.
- Support implementation and management of sales compensation plans and incentive programs; optimize performance and automate targeting/incentive processes.
- Manage field alignment, workload calculation, and territory mapping; collaborate on field resource allocation.
- Partner with IT to manage data underlying sales/marketing operations (targeting, incentives, KPIs, field sizing, reporting); maintain customer master data and optimize data sources.
- Drive ongoing improvement of the CRM and related sales systems.
- Support Commercial Operations budget tracking and manage day-to-day vendor coordination.
- Manage the field fleet program (vehicle assignments, lease schedules/renewals, vendor relationships, policy compliance) and serve as field point of contact for fleet needs.
- Support definition, development, and regular communication of business KPIs/metrics.
- Partner with leadership and business analytics to track/report KPIs and turn data into insight shaping field strategy.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related or life sciences field.
- Strong understanding of the life sciences industry.
- 5+ years of experience across sales, analytics, and sales operations.
- Demonstrated ability to build processes/systems/infrastructure from the ground up in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills; comfort with data modeling, CRM/BI tools, and translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong organizational/time management skills; comfortable in a matrixed, team-based environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Preferred:
- Pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
- Experience in cardiometabolic disease.
- Management consulting experience.

Benefits/Pay:
- California pay range: $120,000 USD - $145,000 USD.
