Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Manager passionate about person-centric HIV care to join our Global Medical Affairs team. This role supports the global launch of an HIV treatment pipeline asset (islatravir/lenacapavir) by leading creation of educational content and Medical Affairs deliverables pre- and post-launch. Based at headquarters in Foster City, CA.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as content manager and knowledge expert for islatravir/lenacapavir and support materials across the HIV treatment portfolio.
- Collaborate with Director to develop Global Plan of Action and align team activities.
- Work cross-functionally (Clinical Development, Global Strategic Marketing, Global Value and Access, Medical Affairs Research, affiliate and Merck Medical Affairs) on initiatives including scientific resource development, conference activities, strategic plan implementation, and internal training materials.
- Manage creation, review, and updating of Medical Affairs slide decks, infographics, medical narratives, and strategic resources.
- Provide therapeutic-area training for Medical Affairs personnel; create and review training materials.
- Attend major global scientific conferences to assess information and support conference deck development and training.
- Independently manage projects analyzing new/emerging data to determine what to incorporate into medical content and trainings.
- Develop and maintain an HIV SharePoint page to disseminate information and resources.
- Support HIV Medical Affairs Advisory Programs, as needed.
- Manage projects to completion, anticipating and resolving obstacles collaboratively.

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years with BS/BA.
- 4+ years with MS/MA.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD or equivalent) with relevant HIV clinical experience.
- Prior pharmaceutical industry experience (1–3 years), ideally in Medical Affairs.
- Excellent communication skills; experience developing PowerPoint presentations.
- Ability to synthesize findings and articulate implications; formulate actionable recommendations.
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to meet timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
- Ability to work with autonomy/independence.
- Travel to domestic/international conferences and internal meetings (~5%).

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Salary range: $146,540.00–$189,640.00. May be eligible for discretionary bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
