Role Location: Mettawa, IL or Florham Park, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate cross-functional review/approval (Medical, Regulatory, Commercial, Legal, Compliance, etc.) of advertising, promotional, sales training, and promotional labeling materials.
- Lead communication of material status; provide tactical support and project timeline oversight through the U.S. Material Review Process (MRP).
- Serve as MRP lead consultant/trainer for teams uploading and approving materials.
- Provide leadership: manage/develop project managers; mentor/coaching; provide consulting/training; develop contingency plans; evaluate/update processes to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate logistics to ensure timely production, fulfillment, and shipment.
- Lead MRP process management: Final Sign-off in Veeva; validate metadata/review tier; determine need for Legal/Compliance and Editorial Quality Check; ensure sources files uploaded for production vendors.
- Validate back-end approvals before OPDP submission; oversee release for distribution; manage withdrawals and updated package inserts; initiate inventory update process.
- Project manage 10β20 cross-functional team members; run concept review requests/meetings, weekly agendas, prioritization meetings, and Veeva dashboard review.
- Communicate status, metrics, bottlenecks, and best practices; attend brand/tactical planning meetings.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 8+ years project management (or equivalent)
- SME in material review process/policies/systems
- Strong Veeva expertise
- Experience in print and digital formats
Preferred:
- Bachelorβs degree (Business Management, Science, Education, Communication or related)
- Pharmaceutical industry experience
- Marketing/communication or advertising agency experience; product launch experience
- Adobe Acrobat; MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint; Veeva PromoMats
- Able to learn/adapt to other software
