Role: Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) supporting Regeneron’s R&D (Research and Preclinical Development). Reports into the Director, HR Business Partner.
Onsite requirement: Global HQ in Tarrytown, NY with a minimum of 4 days onsite required (not fully remote/hybrid).
Responsibilities:
- Partner with HRBP Leadership to identify and plan key HR work for business functions across client groups.
- Advise and support managers and employees on employee relations and people-related challenges, partnering with internal HR specialists.
- Handle conflicts, investigations, and employee grievances.
- Coach managers and employees, helping individuals understand options and how to demonstrate the Regeneron Way.
- Participate in interviews for key positions and conduct candidate debriefs to support hiring decisions.
- Onboard new managers in partnership with hiring managers.
- Identify individual/team needs and partner with OD Consulting to craft solutions (e.g., team building).
- Partner with Total Rewards to define new roles, assess external market value, and support reward/recognition programs.
- Support year-end performance calibrations and year-end compensation in Workday.
- Provide ad hoc project support (e.g., career ladders, re-organization projects).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or HR-related discipline.
- Advanced degrees such as MBA, or Master’s in OD/IO or Human Resources preferred.
- Minimum 7–9 years of HR experience.
- Experience in pharma/biopharma/biotech or Manufacturing highly preferred.
Skills/Personal attributes:
- Ability to develop trusted relationships with peers and employees at all levels.
- Comfortable challenging the status quo and influencing scientific/technical leaders.
- Agile learning mindset; comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong analytical skills; uses data to identify problems and deliver solutions.
