Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM)
Responsibilities:
- Compliantly educate healthcare provider (HCP) staff on Customer Support Programs while addressing patient-specific reimbursement and access needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key account contacts in an assigned geography; coordinate compliantly with customer support services, specialty pharmacies, and other field teams.
- Demonstrate knowledge of commercial and government reimbursement/access with payer market expertise in the region.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, specialty pharmacies, and program personnel to navigate patient access and reimbursement.
- Solve complex patient access challenges across payers and specialty pharmacies.
- Educate HCP staff on prior authorization requirements, coverage status, and payer appeals processes/timelines.
- Train HCP staff on customer support programs for the supported portfolio.
- Improve customer experience by simplifying complex issues.
- Educate office staff on patient financial assistance and alternate funding options for the uninsured/underinsured.
- Leverage expertise to improve peers’ competencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in one or more: Patient Navigation, Payer, Reimbursement, Specialty Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Sales.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with customers via virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to manage expenses within allocated budgets.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Starting base pay: $130K–$175K (plus annual bonus or sales incentive).
