Role Summary
Manager, Business HR- Operations Quality. This HR leadership role partners with Site Quality to develop and implement people strategies that support business plans and drive talent development, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days/week onsite in Worcester, MA.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary strategic partner to the business. Assist in creating and implementing HR strategies to meet organizational and business needs.
- Coach, consult, and influence business leaders on leadership development, succession planning, and talent management.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract, develop and retain talent that meets current and future business needs; lead talent development and succession planning efforts.
- Ensure effective delivery of all HR programs and services, and be responsible for HR results including client satisfaction, HR effectiveness, and related financial results.
- Establish, build, and maintain relationships with key HR partners across Centers of Excellence and Service Centers to coordinate HR elements to meet business needs; include relationship management, HR roles & responsibilities, and service delivery commitments.
- Provide consultation on organization design and effectiveness to ensure optimal performance.
- Drive people manager development to create clarity and consistency of expectations, accountability, and enhanced manager/employee experiences; partner with leaders to foster a culture of high engagement, performance, and inclusion.
- Facilitate and model change; develop and deliver effective communication strategies aligned with priorities and objectives.
- Champion AbbVie Ways We Work with Business through modeling, educating, and coaching on these behaviors.
- Prioritize critical projects based on business needs and available resources.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Industrial and Labor Relations or a related field required.
- 6+ years of relevant HR experience.
- Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting the business; strong business acumen.
- Experience using competency models and assessment tools (e.g., 360 assessments) to conduct manager talent assessments and deliver reports identifying motivators and development needs.
- Experience in data analysis and survey results analysis to generate insights and actions to improve talent, culture, and engagement.
- Project management or business experience.
