Account Manager I serves as the primary point of contact partnering with Business Owners and stakeholders to provide strategic, compliance, and operational counsel for sponsorship/exhibit/membership (SEM) needs, including supporting disease state awareness education for colleagues, the industry, patients, and HCO/Customers. Develop strong relationships to educate stakeholders on SEM processes and ensure global and US compliance requirements are met. Act as SME for Sponsorship/Exhibit/Membership processes and point of contact for audits.

Responsibilities:
- Foster long-term partnerships and serve as point of contact for global Third-Party Engagements to support business goals and disease state footprint.
- Review and approve SEM requests to ensure a legitimate business need exists; work with legal to negotiate legal redlines.
- Provide timely communication of status and issues impacting timelines.
- Improve and streamline internal processes.
- Drive implementation of process changes, system assessment, and Business Owner training.
- Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships and enhance collaboration with peers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific laws and company/department policies for interactions with HCOs, GPOs, non-profits, and patients globally in SEM.
- Provide solutions and contingency plans; demonstrate authority and decision-making.
- Use knowledge of customer goals/priorities to support strategies; hold self and team accountable for results aligned with the SEM center of excellence.

Qualifications:
- Ability to produce clear, concise, professional communications to business owners and external HCOs/Customers.
- Ability to communicate schedules and coordinate activities to meet business needs and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills.
- Strong ability to read/display professional non-verbal cues; influence and communicate across organization levels.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple small-to-large projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to present/explain complex information to build rapport and gain alignment.
- Demonstrate professionalism and strong customer focus; ability to exceed customer expectations.
- Thorough understanding of Sponsorships, Exhibits, and Memberships (SEM) requirements.
- Demonstrate authority and decision-making through contingency planning.
