Manager, Access & Reimbursement - Oncology (AZ, NM, CO, KS, MO, IL)

Responsibilities:
- Supports access to GSK Oncology products for appropriate patients.
- Educates providers on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies related to GSK Oncology products.
- Helps providers understand GSK Patient Support Programs intended to help appropriate patients access GSK Oncology medicines.
- Interfaces internally with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams.
- Analyzes access/reimbursement issues and opportunities.
- Provides offices product access/reimbursement expertise.
- Provides access/reimbursement education to field teams.
- Coordinates on access/reimbursement issues with third parties including hubs.
- Supports patient access by providing subject matter expertise on reimbursement issues that may be barriers to product access.
- Reports to Director of Oncology Access & Reimbursement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years’ experience in one or more of: Field Reimbursement, Payer Marketing, Oncology Field Sales (HCP administered or Specialty Pharmacy provided).
- Ability to travel up to 60% including overnights.
- Must live in or within 10 miles of the territory.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, MPH, or other advanced degree.
- In larger geographies, live within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport.
- 6+ years’ experience in one or more of: Field Reimbursement, Oncology Field Sales (HCP administered or Specialty Pharmacy provided), Payer Marketing, Patient Support Programs.
- Reimbursement experience with oral or injected/infused Oncology products across multiple sites of care.
- Knowledge of payer environment (state, federal, private third-party), reimbursement methodologies, and payer policies for HCP and self-administered drugs.
- Customer-focused: relationship building, issue identification and resolution, problem-solving, and project management.
- Ability to operate independently, handle multiple projects, and lead in a matrix environment without direct reports.
- Organized, strategic thinker with excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Knowledge of provider office and hospital outpatient department reimbursement environments, regulations, customers, and account-based planning.
- Knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy access process.
- Comprehensive understanding of Commercial and Medicare Parts A, B, C, D and state Medicaid reimbursement dynamics.
- Understanding of HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-10 coding regulations.
- Experience working with HUBs or reimbursement call centers to support patient access.
