Operations
Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance expertise to service, repair, and maintain process and utility equipment for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Understand customer (Operations) needs and work effectively with customers; handle questions with tact and provide good customer service.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Improve equipment uptime, line efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness through condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting engineering changes.
- Troubleshoot root causes of machine problems (e.g., vibration/temperature issues, bearing failures, abnormal noises, poor performance).
- Repair and overhaul equipment (e.g., gearboxes, pumps, blowers, fans, drives) including disassembly, setting tolerances, aligning, and resetting timing (e.g., air compressors, vacuum pumps).
- Set up equipment to design specifications (timing, leveling, alignment) and operate precision alignment equipment (e.g., Rotalign, lasers).
- Diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Accurately document maintenance actions in CMMS (MAXIMO).
- Assist outside primary responsibilities and learn other skills as required.

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Minimum 2 years of automation experience.
- Mechanically skilled.
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; no visa sponsorship/support.

Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Speak/read/write English to communicate technical/business information.
- Proficient with business software (e.g., MAXIMO, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Teamwork; ability to work around equipment, climb ladders/stairs, use PPE; may be exposed to harsh weather.
- Hands-on experience repairing equipment; use basic troubleshooting tools (e.g., multimeters, calipers).

Additional Information / Work Conditions:
- Work around potentially dangerous/hazardous equipment and materials; safety is paramount.
- 12-hour night shift, 2-2-3 rotation (0545PM–6AM).
