The Maintenance Technician is responsible for equipment maintenance strategy deployment, providing front-line support to production processes, and supporting area engineering initiatives, process improvements, and project implementation. Develop expertise in production processes, verification requirements, and equipment controls system technologies. Ensure equipment is maintained in a qualified state, can be operated safely, and maintenance is properly performed.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Maintain Device Assembly and Packing (DAP) area equipment; uphold safety and quality processes and controls.
- Perform activities in accordance with cGMPs and applicable procedures.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment records per cGMP and site procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality using equipment performance data.
- Communicate with all levels to plan and coordinate projects and repairs with minimal disruption.
- With the process team, participate in and sometimes lead equipment design, procedures, engineering studies, and maintenance practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment operational effectiveness and reliability.
- Provide technical support for process and engineering teams.
- Transfer knowledge of equipment capabilities and operational techniques.
- Contractor and vendor coordination.
- Provide leadership on the manufacturing floor for safety, quality, and productivity.
- Serve as a key troubleshooting resource and primary point of contact for issue escalation.

Requirements:
- Associate’s degree (or high school degree with equivalent work experience)
- Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment
- Completion of Post Offer Exam or Completion of Work Simulation (if applicable)

- Strong equipment/process troubleshooting, documentation, and reporting
- Ability to understand automation, controls, and electrical schematics
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Experience with PLC/DCS/SCADA
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (GMARS–Maximo)
- Experience supporting highly automated manufacturing
