Description Overview:
- Provides leadership in planning, scheduling, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to deliver world-class Asset Reliability and Maintenance performance and capability to the production, facility, and Maintenance organization in PMI.
Scope of the Role:
- Plan jobs to ensure tools and resources are available to complete work orders.
- Create and update job plans to maintain an accurate job library.
- Use scheduled Work Orders and PMs to direct workflow for production and facilities; provide instructions to technicians, apprentices, and contractors to ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed; ensure PMs and Work Orders are completed timely.
- Track emergency and planned work orders to ensure resolution; address chronic issues.
- Coordinate with facilities, engineering, and operations on capital projects affecting related equipment; assist with developing and implementing PMs, spare part inventories, training, and drawings.
- Assist with validation or quality concerns.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrated leadership ability; excellent communication, organizational, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, proven accuracy, ability to multitask, and strong customer service skills.
- High school diploma or GED with demonstrated progress toward an associate or bachelor’s degree; computer literacy; SAP knowledge preferred.
- Recognized trade by the Department of Labor in a related field; experience in scoping, planning, and cost management preferred.
- 5 years of experience in operations/manufacturing environment; preference for FDA-regulated/GMP environment and prior maintenance experience.
