Territory Range: West of Los Angeles (coast): Santa Monica to Long Beach; up to Thousand Oaks, CA.

About The Role
Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products. Manages and develops long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts and represents Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications. Educates external customers (physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, etc.) on product benefits.

Your Contributions
- Drives product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management
- Executes territory sales strategies via in-person and virtual communications to meet/exceed objectives
- Identifies and addresses territory-specific opportunities and barriers
- Manages promotional resources and budget
- Builds and maintains relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community mental health clinics/long-term care, and local/regional payers and pharmacies
- Collaborates with internal partners (managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, medical communications)
- Upholds highest ethical standards and FDA/pharmaceutical industry best practices
- Maintains full field presence Monday–Friday with flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events

Requirements
- BS/BA in science or related field AND 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech (3+ years specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales highly desired); close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred; psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred; business systems/salesforce automation and business intelligence tools
- OR Master’s in science or related field AND 2+ years of similar experience
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory/enforcement environment; proven sales/launch success; strong computer/business systems skills (Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, etc.); project management; excellent verbal/written communication; ability to navigate complex accounts
- Reside within territory; valid driver’s license and clean driving record
