About The Role
Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products. Manages and develops long-term relationships with physicians and other customers; represents Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications; educates external customers (physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, etc.) on product benefits.

Your Contributions
Sales and Market Development
- Drive product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management
- Execute territory sales strategies via in-person and virtual communications
- Identify and address territory-specific opportunities and barriers
- Manage promotional resources and budget

Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with: healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community mental health clinics/LTC facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Communicate with internal partners (managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, medical communications)
- Uphold highest ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and industry best practices; model compliance with company values

Work Expectations
- Maintain full field presence Monday–Friday; flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- BS/BA in science or related field + 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech or related experience (3+ years specialty pharma or LTC/psychology/neurology sales highly desired)
- Close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred; psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred
- Experience with business systems and salesforce/BI tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, Veeva, etc.)
OR
- Master’s in science or related field + 2+ years similar experience

Professional Expertise & Skills (highlights)
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory/enforcement environments; proven sales and launch success
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams; strong computer/business systems and BI proficiency; project management; analytical/critical thinking; excellent verbal/written communication; strong sales/account management

Job-Specific Requirements
- Reside within assigned territory
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (frequent driving)
