Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice and counseling to business partners on strategic and tactical projects in a highly regulated environment (reporting to the Assistant General Counsel), focusing on market access, government pricing, contracting, federal and state laws impacting pricing/access, antitrust, state pricing transparency, and patient assistance.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise business partners on commercial initiatives to advance company strategy while addressing legal risks and protecting integrity/reputation.
- Provide legal counsel on statutory/regulatory obligations under Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, and the Veterans Health Care Act.
- Counsel on market access and reimbursement.
- Advise on government pricing, including price reporting compliance policies and reasonable assumptions documents.
- Support CMS final rules and related correspondence (letters/public comments).
- Track and advise on proposed/enacted federal and state legislation affecting market access, pricing, reimbursement, and state drug pricing reporting/transparency laws.
- Advise on contracting/services for specialty distributors and specialty pharmacies.
- Support data and special projects; brand strategic planning and business operation plans.
- Stay current on healthcare laws/regulations and enforcement landscape.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies, including the Anti-kickback Statute and other U.S. healthcare compliance laws.
- Collaborate with other legal teams (commercial, pipeline, privacy) and review select materials in a Communication Review Committee.

Qualifications / Skills (Required & Preferred)
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school; member of a state bar.
- 8+ years post-JD experience advising on life sciences legal matters (law firm or in-house).
- Government price reporting experience.
- Experience with Medicaid, 340B, VA, federal/state anti-kickback statutes, state drug pricing transparency laws, OIG guidance/advisory opinions, False Claims Act, and PhRMA Code.
- Strong communication (verbal/written), analytical/problem-solving/organizational skills.
- Advanced contracting and redlining; strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage outside counsel and budget.
- Experience advising on specialty medicines (highly desired).

- Pay range: $214,400–$321,600; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
