Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice and counseling to business partners on strategic and tactical projects in a highly regulated environment. Report to the Assistant General Counsel; support departments including Market Access (payer strategy, trade & distribution, government pricing), Government Affairs & Public Policy, and pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise business partners on commercial initiatives, advancing company strategy while addressing legal risks and protecting integrity and reputation.
- Provide legal counsel on Medicaid, Medicare, 340B program, and Veterans Health Care Act obligations.
- Advise on market access, reimbursement, and government pricing (price reporting compliance; reasonable assumptions documents).
- Review CMS final rules and correspondence (letters/public comments).
- Advise on federal and state legislation impacting pharmaceutical market access, pricing, reimbursement, including drug price reporting/transparency.
- Support services/contracting for specialty distributors and specialty pharmacies.
- Support data and special projects, brand strategic planning, and business operation plans.
- Stay current on evolving healthcare laws/regulations and enforcement.
- Ensure compliance with laws/policies including the Anti-kickback Statute and other US healthcare compliance laws.
- Collaborate with colleagues across commercial, pipeline, and privacy; review select Communication Review Committee materials.
- Participate in Legal & Compliance initiatives/committees and share knowledge.

Qualifications / Required Skills
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school; member of a state bar.
- 8+ years post-JD advising in life sciences (law firm or in-house).
- Government price reporting experience.
- Experience advising on market access statutes/regulations/guidance (Medicaid, 340B, VA; anti-kickback; state pricing transparency; OIG guidance/opinions; False Claims Act; PhRMA Code).
- Strong verbal/written communication; ability to advise lawyers and non-lawyers with business understanding.
- Advanced contracting and redlining; strong attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; manage multiple priorities with timeliness.
- Ability to manage outside counsel and adhere to budget.
- Specialty medicines experience highly desired.

Pay/Work Arrangement
- Pay range: $214,400–$321,600; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity; some roles may be eligible for overtime.
- Remote-eligible with flexible options: Remote (mostly remote), Hybrid (up to 2 days remote), or On-Site (mostly on-site).
