Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice and counseling to business partners on strategic and tactical projects in a highly regulated environment. Report to the Assistant General Counsel; support Market Access, Government Affairs & Public Policy, and pipeline (including Payer Strategy, Trade & Distribution, and Government Pricing).

Key Responsibilities
- Advise business partners on commercial initiatives, advancing strategy while managing legal risk and protecting company integrity.
- Provide legal counsel on: Medicaid/Medicare/340B/Veterans Health Care Act obligations; market access and reimbursement; government pricing and price-reporting compliance; CMS final rules and correspondence; proposed/enacted federal and state legislation impacting market access, pricing, reimbursement, and state drug price transparency; services/contracting for specialty distributors and specialty pharmacies; data/special projects; brand strategic planning and business operating plans.
- Stay current on healthcare laws/regulations and enforcement landscape.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws/policies, including Anti-kickback Statute and other US healthcare compliance laws.
- Collaborate with legal colleagues (commercial, pipeline, privacy); review select Communication Review Committee materials.
- Contribute to Legal & Compliance initiatives and share knowledge via presentations/discussions.

Qualifications / Preferred Experience
- JD (ABA-accredited) and member of a state bar.
- 8+ years post-JD life sciences legal experience (law firm or in-house).
- Government price reporting experience.
- Experience advising on market access statutes/regulations/guidance: Medicaid, 340B, Veterans Administration, anti-kickback statutes, state pricing transparency laws, OIG guidance/advisory opinions, False Claims Act, PhRMA Code.
- Strong communication (verbal/written), advanced contracting/redlining, analytical/problem-solving/organizational skills, ability to manage outside counsel and budget.
- Specialty medicines legal experience highly desired.

Compensation / Benefits (as stated)
$214,400–$321,600 base; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, paid time off (including company shutdown), educational assistance/student loan repayment, commuting subsidy, matching charitable donations, and 401(k).
