Role Summary
Leader, Business Systems and Technology Owner
Responsibilities
Collaborate in the planning, design, development and deployment of new systems and enhancements to existing systems for the Post Market Quality organization.
Determine ways of leveraging existing systems for new requirements. Enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow. Identify and resolve issues with existing systems.
Collaborate with key Abbvie stakeholders to address and resolve information system and technology issues and changes.
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Understands division's vision, goals and strategies. Manages required changes effectively. Manages change and encourages innovation. Open to new ideas.
Understands clients business needs and requirements. Resolves issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
Ensure that resources are available to meet the daily operational demands of the systems and technology solutions within scope of governance, including planned and unplanned changes to GxP systems and tools. May oversee and control department budgets, projects budgets.
Responsible for all aspects of people leadership, when required; setting expectations, coaching, counselling, developing, evaluating, feedback, hiring, discipline and separations. Determine necessary mix of skill set. Confronts and deals with employees issues in a constructive and timely manner.
Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with all levels across the applicable stakeholder groups.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 6 years’ experience, PhD 2 years’ experience in business information systems, or a discipline closely related to the client area served.
Experience to include project management, business and process experience.
