Main Responsibilities:
- Lead development of the US commercial strategy for Wayrilz in wAIHA and sickle cell disease; contribute to US commercialization strategy for IgG4-related disease.
- Translate patient, provider, access, competitive, and market insights into strategic choices and commercial priorities.
- Define indication success factors (target populations, treatment positioning, customer segments, evidence needs, access, market development requirements).
- Evaluate competitive scenarios, market evolution, treatment pathways, and barriers to adoption.
- Establish launch readiness plans (milestones, decision points, organizational requirements, cross-functional accountabilities).
- Advocate for pre-launch investments (competitive intelligence, market research, disease education, patient insights, advocacy engagement, customer development).
- Build relationships with external experts, thought leaders, patient advocacy organizations, and stakeholders; select and lead agency partners.
- Apply AI/LLM fluency to commercialization planning; explore new insight generation and customer engagement approaches; partner to personalize disease-state experiences; encourage responsible experimentation with governance/compliance.
- Provide US commercial perspective into Global development/commercialization; provide commercial input to TPPs, clinical assumptions, evidence priorities/endpoints, patient populations, differentiation.
- Identify evidence gaps affecting adoption, access, treatment choice, and long-term potential.
- Drive forecasting, scenario planning, investment cases (OpEx, market development, evidence generation, launch prep); establish success indicators and manage risks/dependencies.
- Partner with Market Access on pricing, contracting, reimbursement, and access strategies; anticipate payer evidence requirements.
- Design patient access/onboarding/support experiences; incorporate voice of patients/caregivers into planning.
- Manage workstreams, ensure compliance with internal/external requirements, establish operating rhythms, and proactively manage risks/timelines/budgets/agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree; minimum 7 years of biopharma commercial experience.
- US commercial experience in hematology/oncology/immunology or other complex specialty markets.
- Strategic chops (e.g., strategy consulting, new product planning, or global/US strategy role); strong US marketing execution, ideally launch/indication expansion.
- Understanding of drug development and relationships among clinical/regulatory/medical/access/commercial decisions.
- Ability to provide commercial input into development plans, evidence strategies, forecasts, and investment decisions.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, strategic, project-management, prioritization, and communication/executive-influencing skills.
- Ability to operate with uncertainty and evolving data.
- Integrity, sound judgment, accountability; ability to work independently with limited direction.
- Highly desired: experience using AI-enabled tools and advanced analytics for commercial execution; demonstrated application of AI/advanced analytics/emerging technologies to strategy and execution.
