Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM)

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; serve as territory account manager for specialty kidney clinics.
- Develop and maintain expertise on disease/product clinical attributes and patient unmet needs to educate HCPs on appropriate product use.
- Understand assigned physicians and territory/market dynamics (stakeholder mapping, key decision makers, patient protocols, referral networks, access, drivers/barriers).
- Achieve territory performance and contribute to area/national team performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to meet goals and address challenges.
- Attend meetings, take on projects as requested, and exercise sound judgment in line with regulatory/compliance and company policies.

Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to understand/communicate complex clinical disease/product.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication.
- Initiative, strong work ethic, passion for improving patient care, customer orientation, cross-functional/team skills.
- Continuous learning; clinical acumen, selling skills, business acumen, customer relationships.
- Expertise in disease centers of care and payer landscape; relationship building/account management.
- IT proficiency (e.g., Veeva CRM); documented sales success.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- Typically 5 years pharmaceutical field sales experience; experience in kidney/renal or rare disease/similar specialty biotech markets.
- Product launch experience highly desired.

Additional requirements
- Complete required trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations.
- Live/work within territory; valid driverโ€™s license.
- Travel up to 80% by car/air; 10โ€“30% overnight; work after hours as needed.

Pay/Benefits
- Base pay range: $133,600โ€“$200,400; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity; includes medical/dental/vision, paid time off (incl. company shutdown), education assistance (incl. student loan repayment), commuting subsidy, matching charitable donations, 401(k).
