Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; serve as territory account manager for specialty kidney clinics.
- Develop and maintain expertise in disease/product clinical attributes and patient unmet needs; educate HCPs on appropriate product use.
- Understand physicians and territory/market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, decision-maker relationships, patient protocols, referral networks, access, and drivers/barriers.
- Own territory-level performance and contribute to area/national results.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; attend meetings and take on projects as requested.
- Exercise sound judgment and adhere to regulatory/compliance and company policies.
Skills/Knowledge
- Communicate complex clinical disease/product; strong interpersonal and written/verbal skills.
- Initiative, strong work ethic, continuous learning.
- Clinical acumen, selling skills, business acumen, and customer relationship expertise.
- Expertise in disease centers of care and payer landscape; relationship building/account management.
- IT capability (e.g., Veeva CRM).
Education/Experience
- Bachelorโs degree.
- Typically 5+ years pharmaceutical field sales; kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar biotech/specialty markets; product launch experience desired.
Requirements/Ability to work
- Live/work within territory; valid driverโs license; travel up to 80% (10โ30% overnight) and work after hours as needed.
- Complete required trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations.

- Base salary range: $133,600โ$200,400; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity; comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, paid time off, 401(k), education assistance, commuting subsidy, and more.
