The Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs), develops a strategic business plan, and communicates disease and product knowledge to HCPs and centers of care. The KTAM leads engagement with nephrologists and serves as an account manager for specialty kidney clinics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; manage territory specialty kidney clinics
- Develop expertise on disease, product clinical attributes, and patient unmet needs; educate HCPs on appropriate product use
- Build understanding of assigned physicians and territory/market dynamics (stakeholders, decision makers, patient protocols, referral networks, access, drivers/barriers)
- Drive individual territory performance and contribute to area/national team performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve goals
- Attend meetings and take on projects as requested by management
- Exercise sound judgment and adhere to regulatory/compliance guidelines and company policies

Education and Experience:
- Bachelorโs degree
- Typically 5 years of pharmaceutical field sales experience; experience in kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar biotech/specialty markets
- Product launch experience highly desired
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of required trainings; background screens, drug testing, vaccinations (as applicable)
- Must live and work within the territory (and possibly near a major airport)
- Valid driverโs license
- Travel up to 80% (with 10โ30% overnight) and work after hours as needed
Pay Range:
- $133,600 - $200,400
- Eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards
