Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Establish meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; serve as territory account manager for specialty kidney clinics
- Develop and maintain expertise on disease, product clinical attributes, and patient unmet needs to educate HCPs on appropriate patient use
- Build deep understanding of assigned physicians and territory/market dynamics (stakeholder mapping, decision-maker relationship management, patient protocols, referral networks, access, drivers & barriers)
- Own individual territory performance and contribute to area/national team performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve goals and address challenges
- Attend meetings and take on projects as requested by management
- Exercise sound judgment and adhere to regulatory/compliance guidelines and company policies

- IT proficiency (including Veeva CRM); experience in a highly matrixed environment
Education And Experience
- Bachelorโs degree
- Typically requires 5 years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry; experience in kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar specialty markets
- Product launch experience highly desired
Additional Requirements
- Successful completion of trainings; background screens; drug testing and vaccinations (as required)
- Must live/work within the territory (or reasonable distance to a major airport); valid driverโs license
- Travel up to 80% (with 10โ30% overnight as needed); work after hours as required
Pay/Benefits
- Base pay range: $133,600 - $200,400; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards; total rewards include medical/dental/vision, paid time off (incl. summer/winter shutdown), educational assistance/student loan repayment, commuting subsidy, charitable donations, and 401(k)
