Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; serve as territory account manager for specialty kidney clinics.
- Develop and maintain expertise in disease, product clinical attributes, and patient unmet needs; educate HCPs on appropriate patient use.
- Understand physicians and territory/market dynamics (stakeholder mapping, decision makers, patient protocols, referral networks, access, drivers/barriers).
- Own territory performance and contribute to area/national team results.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; attend meetings and take on projects as requested.
- Exercise sound judgment and adhere to regulatory/compliance guidelines and company policies.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Communicate complex clinical disease/product; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
- Initiative in innovative environments; continuous learning.
- Clinical acumen, selling skills, business acumen, and customer relationships.
- Relationship building/account management; expertise with disease centers of care and payer landscape.
- IT capability (e.g., Veeva CRM); experience in matrixed environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree.
- Typically 5 years of pharmaceutical field sales experience; experience in kidney/renal or rare/similar specialty markets (product launch experience highly desired).
- Must live/work in territory; valid driverโs license; travel up to 80% (incl. 10โ30% overnight); work after hours as needed.
- Successful completion of customer trainings and background screens; drug testing/vaccinations as required.
