General Summary:
- Kidney Territory Account Manager (KTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs), develops a strategic business plan, and communicates disease and product knowledge to HCPs and centers of care to improve patients’ lives.
- Reports to a Regional Field Leader (RFL) and leads engagement with nephrologists while serving as an account manager for specialty kidney clinics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish meaningful relationships with nephrologists and related HCPs; manage specialty kidney clinic accounts.
- Build and maintain expertise on disease, product clinical attributes, and patient unmet needs; educate HCPs on appropriate patient use.
- Understand assigned physicians and territory/market dynamics (stakeholders, decision makers, patient protocols, referrals, access, drivers/barriers).
- Drive individual territory performance and contribute to area/national team performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve goals.
- Attend meetings and take on projects/duties as requested.
- Exercise sound judgment and adhere to regulatory/compliance guidelines and company policies.

- Communicate complex clinical disease/product; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Typically 5 years of pharmaceutical field sales experience; kidney/renal disease, rare disease, or similar biotech/specialty markets.
- Product launch experience highly desired.
Additional Requirements:
- Complete required customer credentials/training, background screens, drug testing, and vaccinations.
- Live and work within the territory (may require proximity to a major airport).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Travel up to 80% (car/air); work after hours as needed; 10–30% overnight travel.
Pay/Benefits (if applicable):
- Pay range: $133,600 - $200,400; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
