What You Will Do
- Develop and execute Key Medical Expert (KME) and Key Account engagement plans with the Regional Sales Director to ensure long-term success of the Biogen MS portfolio.
- Facilitate a โONE BIOGENโ strategic engagement approach for key accounts in the territory by identifying opportunities and evolving trends that improve patient access to care and quality of care.
- Conduct regular interactions with top KMEs, Prescribers, and Administrators to understand account needs and identify partnership opportunities.
- Routinely and collaboratively work with local sales teams and cross-functional partners (marketing, managed care, patient services) to improve account engagement and increase Biogen trust and value with key customers.
Qualifications / Required Skills
- BS/BA required; MBA preferred.
- Driving is an essential duty; valid driverโs license required.
- Long-term track record of adherence to Corporate Compliance Policies.
Preferred Skills
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
- 2+ years in MS disease state or related chronic disease.
- Account Management experience (navigating complex accounts).
- Management and/or cross-functional experience (strongly preferred).
- Health care reimbursement knowledge (patient/provider perspective).
- Strong relationships, ambiguity tolerance, quick issue resolution with compliant recommendations.
- Strong presentation, organizational, and communication skills (incl. navigating communication between BIIB and HCP office).
- HIPAA and similar privacy laws knowledge.
- OIG and regulatory compliance understanding.
- Strong managed care (regional/national) knowledge; strong problem-solving.
