Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Key Medical Expert (KME) and Key Account engagement plans with the Regional Sales Director to ensure long-term success of the Biogen MS portfolio at the division/account level.
- Facilitate a βONE BIOGENβ strategic engagement approach for key accounts; identify opportunities and trends that improve patient access to care and quality of care.
- Conduct regular interactions with top KMEs, prescribers, and administrators to understand account needs and identify partnership opportunities.
- Routinely collaborate with local sales teams and cross-functional partners (including marketing, managed care, and patient services) to increase engagement and Biogen trust/value.
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum long-term track record of adherence to Corporate Compliance Policies.
- Valid driverβs license (driving is essential).
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience; ideally 2+ years MS disease state or related chronic disease.
- Account management experience in complex accounts; prior management and/or cross-functional experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement (patient/provider), managed care (regional/national), patient privacy laws (HIPAA), and compliance with OIG/regulatory requirements.
- Strong presentation, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work in ambiguous/complex environments; strong problem-solving.
