Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Key Medical Expert (KME) and Key Account engagement plans with the Regional Sales Director to ensure long-term success of the Biogen MS portfolio at division and account level.
- Facilitate a ONE BIOGEN strategic engagement approach for key accounts in territory; identify opportunities and evolving trends that increase patient access to care and improve quality of care.
- Conduct regular interactions with top KMEs, prescribers, and administrators to understand account needs and identify expanded partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate routinely with local sales teams and cross-functional partners (marketing, managed care, patient services) to improve account engagement and increase Biogen trust and value with key customers.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience; ideally 2+ years in MS disease state or related chronic disease.
- Account management experience navigating complex accounts (preferred).
- Previous management and/or cross-functional experience strongly preferred.
- Technical knowledge of healthcare reimbursement (patient/provider perspective).
- Relationship-building with mutual respect and trust; comfortable with ambiguity.
- Ability to quickly identify issues and develop timely, compliant recommendations.
- Strong presentation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Advanced managed care knowledge (regional/national).
- Understanding of HIPAA and similar state privacy laws.
- Advanced understanding of compliance with OIG and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- BS/BA required; MBA preferred.
- Valid driverβs license required.
- Long-term track record of adherence to Corporate Compliance Policies.
