Key Account Manager (KAM)

What You Will Do
- Manage day-to-day execution of account strategies within defined geography/customer segment (live and virtual).
- Own business performance, account planning, and resource coordination.
- Interpret/execute business plans; independently set approach to account priorities.
- Assess business environment across assigned accounts; develop/implement account plans aligned to product strategy.
- Identify performance drivers/barriers; execute targeted pull-through initiatives.
- Monitor performance and adjust plans to meet objectives.
- Build/maintain stakeholder relationships across health systems, IDNs, clinics, GPOs, and specialty networks; identify decision-makers/influencers.
- Serve as contracting point: support contract execution, business reviews, and performance tracking.
- Partner with Sales, Market Access, Marketing, Pricing, and GPO teams; provide field insights.
- Navigate payer/reimbursement pathways (including Buy & Bill), resolve contracting/membership/channel issues, and optimize access/formulary pull-through.
- Analyze account performance, clinic economics, and financial/reimbursement drivers; provide actionable insights.

Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate + 2+ years sales/account management OR Master’s + 4+ years OR Bachelor’s + 6+ years.

Preferred Qualifications
- Buy & Bill experience; contracting/account negotiations; IDNs/GPOs/complex systems; payer/billing/coding/reimbursement; CMS policies & LCD processes; advanced degree (e.g., MBA/MPH/PharmD) or AMDP participation/graduate.
