Responsibilities
- Deliver agreed strategy and tactics for key accounts, including compliant product, therapeutic area, and disease-state education.
- Maintain strong knowledge of relevant therapies, competitive products, data, studies, outcomes, and approved promotional messaging.
- Develop, execute, and refine strategic key account plans (needs assessment, stakeholder mapping, objective prioritization, milestone tracking).
- Deliver approved clinical, financial, outcomes-related, and operational messages accurately and compliantly.
- Coordinate service/support; track KPIs and performance metrics; present account business plans to management as required.
- Achieve sales goals and key business metrics in the assigned territory; develop territory action plans, manage approved budgets, and identify compliant opportunities.
- Leverage CRM systems and customer insights to prioritize engagement, milestones, and follow-up.
- Collaborate compliantly with cross-functional teams to align objectives and coordinate account activities; identify issues and propose solutions.
- Perform duties in compliance with applicable laws, industry codes, and Takeda policies.
Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelorโs degree required; advanced business or scientific degree is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare sales experience (pharma/biotech/device/specialty/healthcare).
- Proven key account management success; strong scientific aptitude, business acumen, data analysis, and decision-making.
- Proficiency with digital tools, next-best-action/AI-enabled tools, and MS Office.
- Strong influencing, presentation, verbal, and written communication.
- Bilingual French and English proficiency (required).
- Valid driverโs license; ability to travel in-field, including overnight as needed.
