Key Account Manager (KAM) — Enterprise, IDNs & Complex Accounts

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise account strategies across priority IDNs, health systems, and complex accounts in an assigned geography.
- Build institutional access via formulary engagement, protocol development, and clinical pathway integration.
- Drive integration of Plozasiran into treatment algorithms, order sets, and clinical workflows with institutional decision-makers.
- Own multi-year account growth plans; use adoption/access/performance data to prioritize opportunities and address barriers.
- Maintain account planning discipline (e.g., business reviews, stakeholder mapping).
- Build trusted relationships with pharmacy leadership, population health leaders, value analysis committees, and clinical champions.
- Lead value-based discussions (HEOR, outcomes, real-world evidence) aligned to institutional priorities.
- Navigate multi-layer institutional approvals; ensure alignment between enterprise leaders and field prescriber activation.
- Develop clinical fluency in FCS/ApoC-III and Plozasiran; educate stakeholders on disease, diagnostics, and patient identification.
- Collaborate with Health IT; partner cross-functionally (Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Commercial Ops) to remove barriers.
- Own adoption/performance targets; monitor forecasts; maintain CRM/reporting; ensure compliant, ethical engagements.
- Travel ~60% for health system and commercial engagements.

Qualifications
- 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience (required).
- Experience managing IDNs, health systems, or complex accounts (required).
- Demonstrated ability to influence formulary/protocol/pathway decisions and achieve territory growth (required).
- Specialty/rare disease/cardiometabolic experience (preferred).

Skills/Competencies
- Executive presence; advanced account management and enterprise planning.
- Health system economics/reimbursement and institutional access pathway knowledge.
- Ability to translate clinical/HEOR data into value narratives.
- Analytical, resilient, adaptable, collaborative; strong communication and negotiation.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $190,000–$210,000 plus incentive compensation.
