Key Account Director (KAD)
Position Responsibilities:
- Represent Madrigal with Integrated Delivery Systems and large HCP Super Groups (engage C-suite executives, pharmacy directors, and medical directors within assigned accounts).
- Articulate compelling unbranded and branded messaging in PI labeling, including Brand Value Propositions, approved brand clinical information, and approved Health Economic Data and Models.
- Drive customer engagement by providing deep insights on the MAFLD/MASH disease continuum (trends, market conditions, protocol development, and formulary/medical policy changes).
- Leverage and champion core key account resources and sales planning tools to optimize sales performance.
- Facilitate MML/HEOR/Marketing interactions with customers to develop patient-centric solutions and unique engagements.
- Collaborate with functional matrix team leaders to optimize performance and manage complex business risks/issues.
- Develop and execute Key Account matrix business plans with cross-functional leaders (Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access & Patient Support).
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws/regulations and company policies.
- Reports to the Executive Director, Health Systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 12+ years of successful account management in biotech or pharma.
- Extensive customer relationships with key account RX and Medical Directors.
- Ability to meet/exceed quantitative and qualitative targets.
- Ability to travel 60–80%.
- Strong project management; superior analytical and planning skills.
- Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Access, Excel).
- Reside within geographic area of responsibility.
- Valid driver’s license required.
