The Junior Pricing Analyst will support the Purchase Based Contracting (PBC) organization by facilitating the creation, maintenance, and management of provider/GPO contracts for Botox, Lupron, Skyrizi IV, oncology products, GPOs, and other assets/relationships. Develop and execute approved contracting strategies with Brand, Market Access, Legal, OEC, and other Pricing and Finance teams. Serve as a contract and pricing subject matter expert/liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including helping identify, establish, develop, and implement processes to maintain AbbVie US compliance with state and federal government laws and regulations. Adhere to OEC policies and procedures, including periodic training modules and certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Support contracting requests, including term extensions and amendments.
- Calculate and submit customer rebates and GPO administrative fees.
- Manage membership and GPO rosters to ensure contract eligibility; support Chargeback team with eligibility questions and issue resolution.
- Research issues, address inquiries, and provide support from contract operations through conclusion; communicate results.
- Document and review key processes with an eye toward improvement.
- Audit (SOX) contracts input into the contracting system (Model N) by Analysts.
- Support PBC contracting efforts to ensure timely and accurate contract implementation.
- Act independently and use sound business judgment within defined guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required; BA/BS in Finance/Accounting or similar preferred.
- 0β1 year of contracting/finance/accounting experience.
Skills:
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Attention to detail in documentation; identify data/document discrepancies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and due dates under tight timeframes.
- Ability to gather data from multiple sources for documents and reports.
