Position Summary
- Serve as business leader for assigned territory; drive commercial growth, expand surgeon adoption, and increase MACI procedural volume.
- Territory coverage: South Bend, IN (NW Indiana, SW Michigan, Lafayette, South Bend, Fort Wayne).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic territory business plan to expand MACI utilization and increase procedural volume.
- Identify/convert new opportunities; strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Build long-term partnerships with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, hospital leadership, and healthcare providers.
- Analyze market trends/competition/customer needs to create targeted growth strategies.
- Achieve/exceed territory sales objectives.
- Become a Trusted Clinical Partner; educate physicians and OR teams on clinical and economic value of MACI.
- Provide technical expertise/support during procedures; serve as clinical and business resource across the customer journey.
- Partner with reimbursement/market access to support patient access and remove barriers.
- Use CRM, analytics, and insights for territory performance; maintain planning/forecasting/documentation.
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Life Sciences/Healthcare (preferred).
- 3+ years medical device/surgical/orthopedic/sports medicine/healthcare sales OR 8–10 years consultative sales success.
- Proven record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives.
- Ability to build strategic customer relationships; strong OR/hospital systems understanding.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, influencing; strong planning/organizational/territory management.
- Independent work with cross-functional collaboration; CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Extensive travel within territory.
Preferred
- Orthopedic/sports medicine/biologics/regenerative medicine/surgical implant experience; OR procedure support; buy-and-bill or specialty reimbursement experience.
Compensation
- Incentive-based total cash compensation target: $150,000–$195,000 (base salary $80,000–$95,000).
