IT Program Manager

Role Summary

Senior IT Program Manager responsible for defining requirements, prioritizing IT programs, and delivering projects on time and within budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with internal clients and external contributors, and collaborate with business and scientific staff across multiple disciplines. Location: Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

• Determine key requirements for development of new IT programs
• Determine scope and priority of IT programs
• Lead teams to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
• Coordinate work with internal clients and external contributors
• Collaborate with business and scientific staff across multiple disciplines to accomplish goals
• Consistent reporting on status of multiple projects as well as progress towards IT goals

Qualifications

• Required: Experience with documenting requirements, approaches, and solutions for IT projects
• Required: Vendor management experience, including routine communications and requests for proposals
• Required: Ability to build IT program management road maps for multiple parallel projects
• Required: Work with scientific, business, and IT teams to set priorities
• Required: Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
• Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Required: Effective task/time management organizational skills
• Required: Strong drive toward problem-solving and innovation

Education

• B.S. or equivalent years of work experience in computer science or related field
