Role Summary
Primary Care, Health & Science System Specialist (HSSS) Representative is a field-based sales role responsible for driving performance of the Primary Care portfolio through compliant, strategic customer engagement.
Role Responsibilities
- Drive customer engagement and sales performance via in-person and virtual interactions.
- Build compliant relationships with healthcare providers, advanced practice providers, care team members, and office/clinic staff.
- Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging to support appropriate Primary Care product use.
- Use product/disease/market knowledge to identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and support appropriate pathways of care.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs and remove access barriers.
- Use digital tools and insights to plan, execute, and optimize territory activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; OR associate’s degree with 8+ years’ work experience; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years’ work experience.
- 3+ years in one or more: pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales; pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device marketing; aligned therapeutic specific healthcare provider experience.
- Valid US driver’s license; no DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation in past 7 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–5+ years sales experience (preferably Primary Care/broad-based specialty).
- Advanced disease/therapeutic/product knowledge; strategic selling/territory management.
- Demonstrated business acumen; matrix-environment collaboration.
Work Location & Travel
- Remote, field-based; reside within workable distance of territory points of business.
- Travel to accounts/office locations; overnight as needed.
