Key Responsibilities:
- Develops strategic business plans for assigned territory aligned with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Meets and exceeds key performance indicator expectations; demonstrates excellent communication skills (listening and verbal articulation).
- Achieves quarterly sales goals with aligned targets.
- Develops pre-call strategy for aligned targets.
- Demonstrates influencing and negotiation skills.
- Learns and applies in-depth product knowledge (including relevant disease states) and communicates it effectively to customers to support informed decision-making.
- Develops and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with customers and internal stakeholders across teams and leadership levels; fosters open communication, builds trust, and works with cross-functional teams to execute goals.
- Utilizes software platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and CRM software to complete daily tasks (managing data, coordinating communications, enhancing productivity).
- Proactively pursues continuous learning and professional development in sales impact, communication, and product knowledge.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree; preferred 1–2 years of sales experience (equivalent combinations of experience and/or education considered).
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook; strong verbal/written communication and excellent listening/comprehension.
- Preferred: knowledge of professional sales, territory management, and marketing of pharmaceutical products.
- Ability to sit/stand/walk/stoop as needed; periodic travel (~10%).
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $48,000.00–$72,000.00 USD (exact compensation may vary by skills, experience, and location).
