Role Summary

IDN Account Manager for the West Coast territory (CA - LA area preferred). Responsible for managing assigned IDN/Hospital accounts, expanding presence in Injectable/Oncology/IDN and Specialty channels, and achieving sales objectives through contract compliance and strategic account development.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain contract compliance while generating pull-through sales at IDN-Corporate and hospital levels; act as the specialist for key health systems within the territory.
  • Own the assigned accounts and develop a deep understanding of the market and competitors.
  • Represent and promote the companyโ€šร„รดs products in a professional, productive manner.
  • Drive contract compliance, maintain current business, and develop new business with excellent customer service.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and report it; provide weekly updates to Marketing, Contracts, Customer Service & Sales Management; be a strong team player.
  • Lead discussions and share information about health systems and hospital markets.
  • Exceed sales goals and position Dr. Reddyโ€šร„รดs as a key health systems player.
  • Overnight travel required 30-40%

Qualifications

  • Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum work experience: 5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry (generic injectable experience preferred) with a proven track record in IDN-Health Systems and hospital markets

Skills

  • Proven, experienced representative or buyer with strong industry knowledge
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Time management, prioritization, calendaring, route planning, territory ownership
  • Ability to work independently and achieve success; ability to engage with decision makers
  • Team player and relationship builder
