Position Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning talent strategy with business objectives to drive performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and change management.
- Partner with leadership to drive performance management, succession planning, and talent development.
- Coach managers on employee relations, engagement, and leadership effectiveness.
- Lead compensation planning, workforce budgeting, and headcount strategy in partnership with Finance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support culture-building efforts aligned with company values.
- Leverage HR data and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and HR Operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises employees, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, feedback, and day-to-day people leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP experience.
- Experience in biotech, pharma, or life sciences required.
- Strong expertise in organizational design preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
- Strong executive presence and business acumen; success supporting leaders in high-growth environments.
- Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and organizational growth.
Salary Range
- $161,000 - $210,000 USD
