Location/Work: Sleepy Hollow, NY; minimum 4 days onsite required (not fully remote or hybrid).
Responsibilities:
- Lead investigations into employee concerns (develop investigation strategies, review data/documents, conduct interviews, and write/communicate investigation summaries).
- Coach/supervise investigations for less experienced ER team members and HRBPs.
- Engage leadership regarding investigations (HR business partners and business managers).
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, Compliance, Quality Assurance, Security, and others.
- Collaborate with Compliance and Legal, and HR leadership, to address Ethics Points claims.
- Document and maintain sensitive, privileged, and confidential information; update/maintain case and department data in relevant systems.
- Advise HR Business Partners and colleagues on employee relations processes and policies; consult on overlap/impact.
- Serve as point of contact for Employee Relations.
- Build relationships with employees, managers, partners, and leaders to drive positive outcomes.
- Gather/analyze ER trends and data for HR leadership and SLT presentations.
- Identify improvement opportunities using analytics and systemic issue trends; recommend strategies and actions.
- Participate in ER team projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in a scientific discipline or HR-related discipline.
- 7โ9 years related work experience.
- At least 4 years of direct experience as an investigator for Employee Relations matters.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Masterโs in Organization Development, or Human Resources) preferred.
Skills/Preferences:
- Experience analyzing ER data and helping develop ER strategy (preferred).
- Experience coaching junior ER professionals, HRBPs, and business leaders (preferred).
- Superb communication skills (listening, writing, presentation).
- Interpersonal skills to negotiate, influence, and resolve issues at all levels.
- Strong time management and ability to manage multiple urgent assignments.
